On Sunday morning the death occurred of Mrs. Isaiah Tufford, a respected resident of Clinton Township. Deceased had been in poor health for some years but through it all made an heroic fight against disease. Besides her husband, six sons, Melvin, of the Strand Hotel, Hamilton; Milton of Guelph; Mahlon and Fred of Beamsville; Charles of Grimsby Beach; and Roland at home, and two daughters, Mrs. William Ennis, of Hamilton and Mrs. A.Culp of Clinton Township, are left to mourn her demise. Two brothers, Jasper and Beverly Book, and two sisters, Mrs. J.H. Lindaberry and Mrs. Thos. Lindaberry, also survive. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon to Mount Osborne Cemetery and was largely attended.
