Mrs. John Running, a resident of Grimsby for over 30 years, died very suddenly on Saturday, Sept. 4 in the township of North Grimsby. Mrs. Running had been living with her daughter, Mrs. Reginald Ferris, on the Alex Geddes farm, and on Saturday morning she started to walk to the trolley line and had almost reached the stopping place when she fell to the ground and expired instantly. Dr. Alexander was notified but he considered an inquest unnecessary. Heart failure was the cause of death. The funeral took place on Monday,Sept. 6, to Queen's Lawn Cemetery, Grimsby, Rev. Mr. Ratcliffe officiating. The deceased lady was in her 69th year and is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. John Flock and Mrs. Reginald Ferris, Grimsby, and one son, Fred Running, of Binbrook.
