Death came suddenly to Mrs. M.J. Book on Monday evening, when after about five hours' illness due to a paralytic stroke which she suffered on Monday afternoon, she passed away in the evening without regaining consciousness. The deceased, whose maiden name was Marjory Ann Huff, was born 61 years ago on the Huff homestead east of Beamsville. In 1874 she was married to M.J. Book, who was then farming in Clinton Township. Some 11 years ago, they came to reside in Beamsville. Her husband, four sons, John of Grimsby Beach, A.A. of Niagara Falls, N.Y., Leslie and James and one daughter, Mrs. Delaree, at home, survive as well as two sisters, Mrs. John Walker of Niagara Falls and Mrs. Thos. Zimmmerman, Clinton Township. - Beamsville Express.
