(Compliments of the Aurora Banner) The first death among the men from this place, now fighting at the front, was reported on Monday, May 9, when a telegram was received, announcing the death, in the fighting at Langemarck, of Sergt. E. Harold Mulloy, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Mulloy of Wellington Street. When the war broke out, Mr. Mulloy, who was manager of the Bank of Montreal at Swift Current. Sask., was visiting at his home here, and he enlisted with the 4th Battalion Royal Grenadiers...Serg't. Mulloy was born in Grimsby, Ont. 26 years ago, and came to this place to live when his father was appointed Principal of the High School. He received his education at the High School here and Toronto University... Serg't Mulloy was one of twin boys born in Grimsby...
