Mrs. Alfred Teeter, well known in Grimsby, Smithville and Caistor, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.S. Cunningham, Hamilton, on Thursday, Jan. 28, at the age of 72. Mrs. Teeter's maiden name was Fisher and she was born near Smithville and lived in that part of the country and Grimsby all her life until she moved to Hamilton with her husband a few years ago. She is survived by her husband, three sons, Elgin and Emery in Hamilton, and Ambrose in Pittsburgh, Pa., and four daughters, Mrs. Cunningham and Mrs. Hannigan in Hamilton, Mrs. P.J. Dailey, Pittsburgh, Pa.,and Mrs. C.T. Farrell, Grimsby. She is also survived by three brothers in Smithville and one in California and one sister in Peterboro. Ont. The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon, from the residence of her daughter, to Smithville Methodist church cemetery. Service was held at the house, when the funeral proceeded to Smithville by T.H.& B. train and a service was held at the graveside by the pastor of the Methodist church, Smithville. The late Mrs. Teeter and her husband celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during the time that they lived at Grimsby and a short time ago they had completed 55 years of married life.
