Beamsville, Dec. 29 - Edward Tufford, aged about 35 years and said to be extremely deaf, was struck by an eastbound Grand Trunk flyer about 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon near the Vineland station yards. The man was instantly killed. Mr. Tufford lived at Vineland and was walking down the tracks when he met his death. An inquest took place at Jordan Station last night.
