There died at the home of her niece, Mrs. James Cross, North Grimsby, on Thursday, Nov. 3, 1921, Annie McArthur, in her 76th year. Miss McArthur was born in Breadalbane, Glengarry County, Ontario, the daughter of Arthur McArthur and Christie McLaren, who came from Scotland in 1815. She came to Grimsby in April 1920, and her nearer surviving relatives, three nieces, Mrs. James Cross, of Grimsby, and the Misses McDougall of Montreal; and two nephews, Arthur Campbell, of Grimsby, and C.T. McDougall, of Lewisville, Alberta. The funeral took place to Queen's Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, Nov. 5. Rev. T. Ratcliffe conducted the services. The pallbearers were Thomas Sowerby, David Crowe, J.D. Russ and Charles Bierd.
