Full Text

In the death of Mrs. A.D. Middaugh on Saturday last, the Township of South Grimsby lost one of its finest and much beloved citizens. Mrs. Middaugh had had an attack of la grippe about two weeks ago, from which she supposed she had recovered, but on Wednesday last, she complained of not being well and went to bed. Pneumonia set in and she passed peacefully away on Saturday. She was married about 32 years ago to Mr. A.D. Middaugh and has resided in South Grimsby ever since. She leaves to mourn her early demise a kind and loving husband and two grown up children Mr. James Middaugh of Beamsville, and Miss Pearl at home; her mother, Mrs. James Randall of Grimsby, and two brothers, Mr. Frank Randall of Grimsby and Stewart of St. Catharines... The funeral took place from her late residence on Tuesday and was very largely attended. The Rev. Wright of Smithville officiated. The Home Circle of which she was a member conducted the service and six members were pallbearers. The interment took place in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
