By hundreds of friends in Beamsville and the surrounding district will the death of Mr. Andrew T. Simpson be regretted. As it was generally known he had been an acute sufferer from heart trouble for over two years and his once robust constitution was gradually eliminated by it. For nearly 20 years he was proprietor of the old International Hotel here which was the headquarters for all that was healthy in sporting, musical and agricultural society features, to which the genial "Andy" gave his aid and money.. There is left to mourn him two daughters, Mrs. Wm. Hearle and Mrs. Bessey of Hamilton; two sons, Herbert of Hamilton and William of H.M. Customs, St. Catharines; three sisters, Misses Lulu and Lousie [sic] and Mrs. W. Walker, of Grimsby. The funeral took place on Sunday, March 5 from the home of his sister, Mrs. W. Walker, to Mount Osborne Cemetery, Beamsville...
