Full Text

The eldest daughter of the Rev. E. and Mrs. Softley passed peacefully away on Friday last evening at ten minutes past eleven o'clock. She had been anything but strong for some months, but it was hoped she would again be restored to her usual health, which was not to be, for it developed into Pernicious Anemia, which resulted in her death... The funeral service was conducted at the residence of her late home at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 20, and the interment in Queen's Lawn Cemetery. Messrs. Drope, Burland, Kidd, John and Frank Dennison and L.B. Nelles were pall-bearers. The funeral was private, only the near relatives being in attendance. [First name found in Ancestry]
