A well known figure passed away last week in the person of Henry Teeter, of North Grimsby, formerly of South Grimsby. Up to Tuesday evening, Feb. 26th, he enjoyed good health, but that evening he was taken with paralysis and died Wednesday morning at nine o'clock. The funeral took place to Smithville on Saturday and was largely attended. The following nephews of the deceased were pallbearers; A.W. Teeter and Adam Teeter, Grimsby; Allen Teeter, St. Ann's; Ed. Teeter and John Teeter, Hamilton; and Henry Teeter, Waterford. The deceased was a life long conservative and a prominent Methodist.

Henry Teeter, one of the oldest residents of these parts, was called away to render up his account before a just God last Wednesday morning. ... He leaves a widow and one son to mourn his sudden demise. He had reached the age of 73. ...
