Full Text

The funeral of Miss Bertha Culp, the only surviving daughter of Mrs. Thos. Culp, Lake Shore, and a former pupil of the Beamsville High School, whose sad and unexpected death from typhoid fever, at the early age of 28 years, took place at Niagara Falls, N.Y. last week, was held here on Thursday last. The funeral took place from the G.T.R. Depot on the arrival of the 12:50 train, to the Disciple Church, where a sympathetic funeral sermon was preached by the Rev. S.M. Jones, to a large congregation of sorrowing relatives and friends. On the conclusion of the above solemnly impressive ceremony all that was mortal of the dearly beloved dead was borne to Mt. Osborne Cemetery for interment; the service at the grave being also conducted by the Rev. S.M. Jones. The deceased was a most popular young lady and on account of her beautiful disposition, was greatly beloved by a large circle of friends, who along with the bereaved relatives have the sympathy of the entire community at this time of their trouble.
