A lifelong resident of North Grimsby and Grimsby, son of a pioneer family, Anson Burgess Book, passed away during Tuesday night at his residence on Maple Avenue. He was born in North Grimsby, on the old Book Homestead, now owned by the Basilian Brothers, in November 1879, the son of the late Robert O. Book and Miranda Beamer. He resided all his life on the farm up until 4 years ago when he moved to Grimsby. He has no surviving relatives except several cousins. He was a member of St. John's Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be held at the Stonehouse Funeral Home this (Thursday) afternoon at 2:30 p.m.. Interment will be in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
