Arnold Brooks officiated at the marriage in St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Grimsby, on April 27th, when Alice Anastatia, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Tindale Haws, North Grimsby, became the bride of William Truman Carr, son of Mrs. Alfred Rice of Toronto and the late Mr. John Carr ... Miss Helen Beckerson was her only attendant... Mr. John Rice was groomsman and the ushers were Mr. Robert Haws and Mr. Donald Haws. ... The bride and groom will make their home in Toronto.
