Last obsequies were held on Friday afternoon, for a soldier and a man, when with due Canadian Legion honours, Corp. Earl W. Cornwell, was laid to rest in the family plot in Queen's Lawn Cemetery...Honorary pall bearers were: Ex-Mayor Edric S. Johnson, Earl J. Marsh, Thomas Warner, Edward Rooker, Howard Caudwell, and William J. Schwab. Active pall bearers were: Major L.A. Bromley, M.M., Herbert Lindensmith, Albert Dipper, Oliver Shaw, Clarence Shelton, Cecil M. Bonham. Medal Bearer, Staff Sargeant George Warner.
