Mrs. Amy Allan passed away Monday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lloyd North, 6 Jones Street, Stoney Creek, after a short illness though in failing health for some time. Born in South Cayuga 62 yearsa go, she had resided in Stoney Creek for the last 16 years. She was a Baptist by faith, her husband predeceased her about 4 years ago. Left to mourn her passing are three daughters, Mrs. North and Mrs. Thomas Boden, both of Stoney Creek and Mrs. Ray Parker of Hamilton; three sons, Howard T. of Beamsille; Russell of Stoney Creek and William of Grimsby; one sister, Mrs. Milissa [?Melissa] Barker of Canboro, Ont.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services are being held this afternoon from the home of her daughter in Stoney Creek. Interment in Stoney Creek Cemetery.
