Born in Grimsby 60 years ago and a resident of Stoney Creek for the last 30 years, John Malcolm Smith died at the General Hospital on Saturday. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railwaymen and had been employed by the CNR as a clerk for the last 35 years. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Left to mourn his passing are his widow, one son, Malcolm, jun., of Hamilton; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Boyce, Stoney Creek, and Miss Edyth Sutherland, at home; two brothers, William, of Stoney Creek, and Norman, of Hamilton; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Smith, Stoney Creek, Mrs. Frank Johnston, Toronto, and four grandchildren. Remains rested at the J.B. Marlatt funeral home for service on Wednesday at 2 o'clock, interment being in Queen's Lawn Cemetery, Grimsby.
