All Grimsby was saddened on Sunday to learn of the sudden passing at her home, 41 Livingston avenue, of Elsie, beloved wife of Lloyd Theal. Deceased lady had arose as usual Sunday morning and had stated that she felt fine. Shortly after breakfast she remarked that she was not feeling so well and suddenly suffered a seizure and in spite of medical aid passed away in a short time. Mrs. Theal was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Harvey of Hamilton and came to Grimsby upon her marriage five years ago...She was in her 35th year. Surviving besides her husband,is a son, Kenneth, and a baby daughter, Susan; also her parents and a sister, Miss Amy Harvey, in Hamilton and a brother, Capt. Reginald Harvey with the Canadian Army overseas. Remains rested at the Stonehouse Funeral Home until Monday evening when they were removed to the home of her parents in Hamilton on Tuesday. Funeral services were held in St. Thomas Church, Hamilton on Wednesday afternoon, with interment being made in Hamilton cemetery. Conducting the services were Rev. R.C. Blagrave, Rector of St. Thomas Church and Rev. E.A. Brooks, of St. Andrew's church, Grimsby. Casket bearers were two uncles, Charles E. Harvey and Alfred Harvey, brother-in-law Wylie Theal, and Erwin Phelps, Kenneth c. Baxter and Harold Kelterborn...
