In failing health for some time, James Howard Ransbury passed away Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Elvia Nelson, Caistor township in his 81st year. He was born in Caistor, a son of the late Hiram and Marilda Ransbury. He had lived most of his life there as a farmer. He was an adherent of the Methodist Church. Surviving are three daughters and two sons: Mrs. Norman Wilcox, Grimsby; Mrs. Elvia Nelson, Caistor township; Mrs. Russell Bates, St. Catharines; Charles Ransbury, Gainsborough; Fred Ransbury, Grimsby; also a brother, Edward Ransbury, Fruitland; a sister, Miss Belle Ransbury, Hamilton; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
