The sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved family of a former well-known and highly regarded resident of Grimsby, in the person of Marilla Roszel, widow of O.G.W. Neal, who passed away at her late residence, 97 Barnesdale Blvd., Hamilton, following an illness of seven weeks. During her life time, the late Mrs. Neal had lived in this district, the greater part of which was spent in Grimsby. She was in her 69th year, having been born in South Grimsby Township. Left to mourn her passing are three sons; George, of Hamilton; Lester of Windsor and Chester of Dunnville and four daughters; Lillie, Jordan; Mrs. E. Elisha, Windsor; Mrs. A. Runciman, and Mrs. E. Glanville, of Hamilton. One brother, Anson Roszel of Fonthill and two sisters, Mrs. Albert Scallen, Fonthill and Mrs. Simeon Smye, of Hamilton also survive. The funeral was held on Saturday from the Wallace Funeral Home, Hamilton, after which the remains were conveyed to St. Andrew's Churchyard, Grimsby for interment. Rev. J. Allan Ballard officiated at the graveside.
