The funeral of Mrs. C.W.F. Carpenter was held Friday afternoon from her residence in Grimsby to St. Andrew's Anglican Church. Rev. J.A. Ballard, Rev. E.A. Brooks and Rev. George Scovil conducted the service in the home and at the graveside in St. Andrew's churchyard. The honorary pallbearers were E.M. Smith, J.B. Puddicombe, W.F Geddes, C.T. Farrell, J.H. Gibson, the latter two representing No. 7, Union lodge, Grimsby; J.L. Dunham, L.A. Bromley, representing Chapter No. 69, Grimsby, and Controller William Weir, H.A. Truman, Bert Collins and John Walker, from the Hindoo Koosh Grotto, Hamilton. The pallbearers were Colonel F.I. Carpenter, Stewart, John, Eric and Walter Carpenter, and Lewis Puddicombe.
