Mrs. Douglas, widow of the late Robert Douglas, passed away at her home in North Grimsby, on Tuesday, June 16, at the age of 72 years... She and her late husband, Robert Douglas, who died many years ago, lived in North Grimsby for a long time and he (while alive) was known throughout the township as one of the best grain and stock farmers in the township. After his death, his widow took charge of the farm. She was assisted in her work by four sons, who remained at home and her two daughters, the eldest son, George, having married and gone farming on the next farm, while another son, Wm. resided in Hamilton...She is survived by six sons and three daughters, George, who is farming next to the homestead, William, living in Hamilton, James, and three younger brothers who are at home. One of the daughters lives in Hamilton and two at home. The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon to the Presbyterian Church cemetery, Smithville, the pastor of the Presbyterian church officiating...
