Thomas Hand, 728 Cannon street east, Hamilton, passed away at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Walter Fisher, on Monday. He was born in Port Credit and for many years was a well-known fisherman at Winona. He was 82 years of age. Deceased was a member of St. Peter's Anglican Curch. His wife predeceased him two years ago. Surviving are 7 daughters; Mrs. Vina Tobin, Mrs. Thomas Garvin, Mrs. Cecil Shaver, Mrs. Walter Fisher, Mrs. George King, Mrs. Edward Neville, all of Hamilton, and Mrs. Kenneth Beckett, of St. George; 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Remains rested at Truscott Brothers' funeral home for service on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Interment was in Queen's Lawn cemetery, Grimsby.
