A quiet wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Grobb, Beamsville on Saturday afternoon, when Elva Arletta Grobb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Grobb became the bride of Mr. Ewart C. Rouse, of Hamilton, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Rouse of Beamsville. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A. DeRose. The bride wore a gown of French triple sheer and carried Talisman roses. There were no attendants, and Miss Rita Grobb, sister of the bride, played the wedding music. The bride's mother wore navy blue crepe, and had a shoulder bouquet of American Beauty roses. The groom's mother wore tree bark crepe and a bouquet of Sweetheart roses. Mr. and Mrs. Rouse left for Ottawa and Montreal, the bride wearing a grey swagger suit with blue accessories. They will reside in Hamilton.
