Another of North Grimsby's old residents passed away on Thursday, July 2, 1914, in the person of Richard A. Hurst, at the age of 73 years. ... municipal council of North Grimsby where he owned a farm on The Thirty Road on the mountain. Mr. Hurst's wife died many years ago, he never remarried and for the past number of years has been living amongst his children ... The deceased gentleman is survived by one brother, A.R. Hurst, of St. Catharines, one sister, Mrs. Ofield of Hamilton, three sons, Albert of Vineland, Franklin W. of North Grimsby, Harvey of the Village of Grimsby and one daughter, Mrs. Thos. Pearson, North Grimsby. The funeral took place on Sunday, July 5 at 2:00 o'clock. Service was held at the Thirty Methodist Church and the interment took place in Mount Osborne Cemetery, Beamsville. ...
