The many friends and acquaintances of Mr. Adam Chadwick, who has lived for many years with R.O. Konkle and Sons, at the Mountain Mills, Beamsville, were greatly shocked to hear of his sudden death on Tuesday, June 30. Mr. Chadwick, who was a remarkably stout, strong man in the prime of his life, being only 44 years of age... The deceased was never married and is survived by two sisters, Mrs. A. Bater, and Miss Chadwick, of North Grimsby, and two half-brothers, Robert Walker of Clinton, and Murray Walker, of Niagara Falls, N.Y., two half-sisters, Miss Jeanette Walker, of Beamsville, and Mrs. E. Teeter. The funeral took place on Thursday, July 2nd, at the Mountain Presbyterian Church cemetery.
