Full Text

Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Kitchen, Buffalo, N.Y., announce the marriage of their daughter, Lillian, to Dr. McGillivray of Hamilton. Mrs. McGillivray is the daughter of Mr. James N. Kitchen and granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. Kitchen, fruit grower and wine maker of Grimsby, and sister of the late Dr. William Whitney Kitchen, American consul to Teneriffe, whose death we chronicled a few weeks ago. The Kitchens are an old U.E. Loyalist family and among the first settlers of Grimsby. It is said one of their family was the first white child born between the Niagara River and Hamilton.
