Miss Janet Ann Walker, a highly respected native of this locality, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. E. Teeter, Grimsby Beach, on Tuesday. She was born in Clinton township 83 years ago and had lived there until about 25 years ago, when she made her home in Beamsville. She was a staunch member of the Presbyterian Church. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. A. Baker, Beamville, and Mrs. E. Teeter of Grimsby Beach, and two brothers, Robert O. Walker of Beamsville and Murray Walker of Niagara Falls. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon, April 2nd from the residence of her sister, Mrs. A. Baker, Thirty Mountain, with entombment in the Hamilton Mausoleum. Rev. Stuart Woods of Pelham, officiated. The pall bearers were: Messrs. Huntington, George Fair, H.J. Talbot, John Book, Geo. Konkle and P. Yockey.
