The flag-draped casket, with cap and bayonet on top, was carried by six veterans, F.T. Shoebridge, Wm. Schwab, Thos. Schofield, D.E. Anderson, Tom Warner and Wm. House. At the cemetery the veterans dropped poppies in the graves and stood at attention while Last Post was sounded by Sergt. W. Phipps of the L. & W. Regiment.
