Mrs. Pearl Iva Fortman, wife of William Fortman, died at the family residence in Vinemount on Dec. 31st after a brief illness. She was aged 36 years. She was a member of Tapleytown United church. Besides her husband, she leaves one son, Richard; four daughters, Maude, Daisy, Meryl and Viola; two brothers Ira Jeffery of Mount Hamilton and Emos of Vinemount, and one sister, Mrs. Charles Packham of Grimsby, and her mother, Mrs. Richard Jeffery of Vinemount. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the residence to Tapleytown cemetery.
