The death occurred at Fruitland, on Saturday, Oct. 31, of Mrs. Isaac Smith, one of the oldest residents of the district. Mrs. Smith, who was in her 86th year, had been ill for about six weeks. Left to mourn her demise are two sons, Rev. George E. Smith, Beamsville, and W.B. Smith, Fruitland, and one daughter, Mrs. James Brown, of Fruitland. The funeral took place on Nov. 3, to Hamilton cemetery.
