A wedding of interest to a large section of the Winona district took place at the home of Gordon and Mrs. Kingdon, on Saturday afternoon, when Josephine, daughter of A.F. and Mrs. Allen, of Comber, Ont., and for some time the popular assistant in Winona post office, became the bride of Ernest Cullimore, of Beamsville, Ont., Rev. J.W. Hunt performing the ceremony.
The bride, who was unattended, was becomingly gowned in blue crepe de chine and carried a shower bouquet of bride's roses, and her going-away costume was of blue tricotine with hat to match.
Following the ceremony, a buffet luncheon was served, after which the young couple left by motor for the home of the bride's parents at Comber, and to visit other points in western Ontario. On their return Mr. and Mrs. Cullimore will reside in Beamsville.
Many and useful gift were presented to the bride during the last few weeks, when a number of showers were given in her honor.
