Full Text

A pretty wedding was celebrated at the Baptist church on Saturday, March 28, when Goldie Illa, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Terryberry of Smithville, formerly of Grimsby, became the bride of Norman H. Piett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaiah Piett, of South Grimsby. Promptly at one o'clock, to the strains of the Bridal chorus from Lohengrin played by Mrs. George Konkle, the bride, beautifully attired and carrying a bouquet of Ophelia roses, entered the church, being attended by Miss Sylvia Stouch, of Grimsby East. Roy Piett supported the groom. After the signing of the register, the happy couple left amidst showers of confetti and the best wishes of their many friends on the 1:58 train for London and other points west. On their return they will reside on the groom's farm on South Grimsby.
