An aged citizen of Clinton township passed away on Wednesday July 7th, 1920 in the person of William Henry Stewart, aged 73 years, at his home in Tintern, after about two weeks illness. The deceased was born in Moulton township and for the past 45 years has resided on the farm at Tintern. Besides his sorrowing wife, three sons and six daughters mourn a loving husband and father; Mrs. Frank Chittick, Eramosa; Mrs. John McLeod, Tintern; Mrs. G.A. Tinlin, Beamsville; Mrs. Perry, Silverdale; Mrs. Cromwell Foal, St. Anns; Miss Muriel of the Beamsville Public School staff; Chester of St. Catharines; Stanley and Harold of Kingston. The funeral was held from his late residence on Friday, July 9th. Evangelist Ralph G. Schell, assisted by Evangelist G. McPhee, both of Toronto, conducted the services.
