Mrs. Patrick Henry, widow of the late Patrick Henry, North Grimsby, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. White, Chicago, Ill., on Wednesday, December 18th at the age of 81 years. The remains reached Grimsby, accompanied by her son, Edward Henry, on Friday morning, December 20th and the funeral took place from the GTR Station to St. Joseph's Church, where service was held, thence to Queen's Lawn Cemetery ... the Rev. Father Longo officiated. The pallbearers were Jas. Theal, D.E. Swayzie, Benj. Pyett, S.E. Mabey, Jas. Marlowe, and George Marlowe. The deceased lady whose maiden name was Julia Curtain was born in Ireland and came to the United States in girlhood. She was married in New York State 55 years ago to Patrick Henry, who predeceased her 12 years. They came to Canada over 40 years ago and settled in North Grimsby. After the death of her husband, Mrs. Henry went to reside with her daughter in Chicago. She is survived by two sons, John of Smithville, and Edward of Chicago, and two daughters, Mrs. Wm. White of Chicago and Mrs. Albert Cole of Grimsby.
