A very appropriate and impressive Memorial Service was held in the Fifty Church, Winona,in connection with the unveiling of the beautiful bronze tablet in memory of the deceased soldier...Sergt. Hugh John Cocks, A company, 20th Battalion, Canadian Infantry, killed in a raid between Vimy and Lens, 17th of January, 1917, aged 22 years. Buried in the Maroc Cemetery, France. For the cause he loved.
