Miss Isabel V. Taylor, one of the most highly respected ladies of this vicinity, passed away to the Great Beyond on Monday evening, April 23rd, at the residence of her niece, Mrs. Alex Tweedle, Mount Hamilton, with whom she had been making her home of later years. Deceased had been in failing health for some years, her condition becoming critical and terminating fatally a week ago. Her remains were brought back and laid at rest amid the scene of her life activities and beside her old home Church Cottage, St. George's church cemetery, Tapleytown on Thursday afternoon...She was a daughter of the late Robert and Ellen Taylor of W??ford, Ont. and one of the few surviving grandchildren of the late J. Taylor who was the first judge, Gore district, Hamilton...Miss Taylor had reached her 80th year. She leaves three sisters and one brother: Mrs. J.Tingey, Wiste, Alberta, Mrs. E. Swanson, Petrolia, Ont., Mrs. M. Buckbee, Mount Hamilton, and Thomas B. Taylor, London, Ont. The pallbearers were Messrs. D. Jarvis, Robert Bell Sr., D. Horning, G.E. Clark, P. Tweedle, and J. Norton, all old neighbourhood friends...
