An outstanding coroner, surgeon and practising physician in Sudbury, Dr. George Arthur Henry, of 31 Cedar St., died on Friday morning, June 8th. He was in his 72nd year. ... His wife predeceased in 1923, one year after their marriage. He was born near Beamsville, Ont., a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James O. Henry. ... Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Theo. B. Edmonds of Grimsby and a brother, James R. Henry of Medina, N.Y. Mrs. Edmonds and a niece, Mrs. Harry Crow of Beamsville were at his bedside during his last week of illness. ... He was laid to rest in the family plot at Mt. Osborne Cemetery, the bearers being Dr. Elmore, Clarence Buck, Frank Russ, Robert McNeill, C. VanEvery, and Harry Crow.
