Following a short illness, Mrs. William Jose, Grimsby Beach, died Sunday at the Hamilton General Hospital. Born in Toronto, the former Rose Edith Haskayne, she had lived for several years in this district. She was a member of the Church of England, a life member of the Women's Auxiliary and an active member of the Red Cross. Surviving are her husband, one son, William Alan; three sisters, Mrs. E. C. Morland, Mildred and Edna Haskayne of Toronto. The remains rested at the Stonehouse Funeral Home until Monday evening when funeral services were held in St. Andrew's Church, Rev. E.A. Brooks officiating. Remains were transported to Toronto on Tuesday and services and interment were held on Wednesday afternoon.
