Friends here regretted to learn of the death of William Alfred Christie,jun., a former resident of Grimsby, whose death occurred in the General hospital, Toronto, on Sunday. Deceased was born at Guelph in 1888, being in his 45th year. At the time of his death he was an electrical engineer at the Dome Mines. Surviving are his wife, formerly Clara Kew, Beamsville, two sons, John and Richard, and one daughter, Nanette, all of South Porcupine, Ont., his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Christie of Grimsby; two brothers, John S. of Grimsby and Campbell, of Chicago; also four sisters, Miss Margaret C. Christie of New York; Mrs. T.W. Aagaard, Chicago; Miss B.M. Christie at home and Miss L. Christie of Guelph. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon in St. Andrew's Anglican Church Cemetery, Rev. J.A. Ballard officiating, a large number attending to pay their last tribute of respect. An unusually large number of beautiful floral offerings were sent by friends. The following acted as pall bearers: J.S. Christie, Victor Kew, S. Sunderson, Harry Wilson, H. Barker and H. Burton.
