There passed peacefully away, after a very brief illness, on Thursday afternoon last, at the home of her daughter, Mansion Apts., Grimsby, Mrs. Knight, widow of the late George Knight, and dearly loved mother of Mrs. Charles Norman. Deceased who was in her 82nd year, came to Grimsby to reside two years ago, with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. C. Norman, of the Bell Telephone staff, and while of a retiring disposition, due to her advanced age, she endeared herself to all of those with whom she came in contact. Previous to this time she had lived in Hamilton and Toronto, where she was born and where the remains were taken for interment last Saturday afternoon, the following acting as pallbearers: C. Norman, H. Norman, C. Knight, G. Knight, A. Tranter and R. Conklin. She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. C. Norman and Mrs. H. Norman of Hamilton, and two sons, Charles of Toronto and George of Hamilton.
