Full Text

A native of Smithville and a prominent educationalist, died at his home on Palermo Road, Oroville, California, in the person of Albert Edward Camp, aged 74. At one time principal of Oroville schools and long identified with education in Butte county, he was as well widely known for his interest in music and formerly was director of the Oroville band. Mr. Camp was born in Smithville, Ontario April 26th, 1863. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sarah Emily Camp, and one brother, Arthur Wesley Camp of Hammonton, California.
