An official telegram has been received by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Handzuk, 95 John St., Oshawa, informing them that their son, Sgt. John Harold Handzuk, R.C.A.F., is missing after air operations over enemy territory on the night of June 11.

Sgt. Handzuk enlisted in the R.C.A.F. in October, 1942, and went overseas in September, 1943. He was an air gunner with the bomber command. He took his training in Toronto, Souris, Man., Trenton and graduated from MacDonald, Man.

Sergt. Handzuk is a grandson of Steve and Mrs. Siblock, Ontario street, Grimsby.
