A life long resident of the Grimsby district passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dezeil Wright, Preston, on Wednesday morning, in the person of Mrs. Georgina Anderson, relict of the late Robert Anderson (Land), who predeceased her in 1926. Deceased lady suffered an injury from a fall last autumn and was confined to Hamilton hospital for a lengthy period and went to Preston to live with her daughter. She never recovered from her injury and passed peacefully away Wednesday morning, in her 82nd year. She was a life long member of the Baptist church and while never a woman who appeared much in public she had many friends throughout the district. The remains are being transferred from Preston to the Stonehouse Funeral Home this morning and funeral services will be held from the funeral home on Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Wright (Maud); five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Norman Foster, Jordan; Mrs. Lillian Brown, Fonthill; Mrs. Loyal Piper, Canfield; one brother, Cyrus Singer of Cleveland O.
