Frederick Fulton Lowndes, retired school teacher, passed away suddenly at his home in North Grimsby township on Sunday, in his 59th year. He was born in Bruce County, a son of the late George and Helen Lowndes. He spent 22 years in the teaching profession, retiring in 1934. He had made his home here for the last 20 years. Surviving, besides his wife, are two sisters, Mrs. E. Murray, Toronto and Mrs. N. Rayner, St. Thomas. Private funeral service was held from the Stonehouse Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon, to Queen's Lawn Cemetery, Rev. J. Allan Ballard and Rev. E.A. Brooks officiating. Casket bearers were Howard Caudwell, G.M. Ghent, Allan Nelles, Willison Nelles, Alex. Whyte, Joe Cobourn.
