On Saturday afternoon, April 8th, 1944, a quiet wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rosebrugh, Grimsby Beach, when their daughter, Anna Elizabeth, was united in marriage to William Ray Voll, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Voll of Smithville, with the Rev. W.J. Watt officiating. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin dress, with a corsage bouquet of pink roses and white carnations. Miss Jean Voll, sister of the groom, was the maid of honour, wearing a pale blue satin dress with corsage of red roses and carnations. The groom's attendant was Mr. Lloyd Rosebrugh, brother of the bride. The bride's mother received in a blue silk dress, with corsage bouquet of red and white roses. The groom's mother wore a black silk dress with a bouquet of pink and white roses. For travelling the bride was attired in a navy blue suit and hat, with white accessories. The happy couple left by motor for Hamilton and points north.
