Body of Flight Sergeant Richard E. Bertram of Hamilton, recovered from the sea Sept. 15, has been buried in Ostend, Belgium, his father, J.H. Bertram, was advised Saturday through information of German origin conveyed through International Red Cross.

A former student at Grimsby High School, Flight Sergeant Bertram later moved to Hamilton.

He was a grandson of Major-General Sir Alex Bertram of Montreal and Dundas, Ont.
