The council met pursuant to adjournment on the 25th Nov., 1887. members all present. Minutes of last meeting read and confirmed. $4.00 charged to A. McIntyre, for statute labor of his sons, struck off the roll, as these young men were volunteers in Her Majesty's service. The treasurer was directed to remit to the treasurer of Artemesia $2.82 being Euphrasia's share for drawing deeds, registration and postage, Hugh Walton re Euphrasia and Artemesia. The treasurer was instructed to to pay to several parties mentioned in the resolution the amount placed opposite their names therein for labor at lot 29, con.9, repairing culvert and railing. Total amount being $22.00. The reeve's orders were issued on the treasurer to pay as follows, viz:--John McKenzie, $10.00, relief for R. Poley indigent; George Julian, $4.50, plank for bridge; James Gardner, $24.50, work on Charters Hill con.3; James Caruthers, $63.25; James Seabrook, $4.00, burying dead horse; Geo. Mathewson, $2.00 repairing culvert on 5th line; David Miller, [$2.80,] repairing road scraper. Council adjourned until 23rd Dec. R. Dunlop, Clerk.
