Simcoe Lodge Summer Hotel ca. 1900. built by Alexander Kennedy about 1880. It was run at the time of the photograph by Oliver Thompson who is sitting on the bottom veranda. It was torn down about 1963 and the Lakeview Motel is on the same spot.
