A life-long resident of Port Credit, Mr. John Duck, passed away in his 75th year, Saturday, September 2nd, 1950, at Greyscher House, Clarkson.
For many years he was a breeder and exhibitor of pedigreed Yorkshire swine, and he was a judge at the Canadian National Exhibition for 13 years, and also at the Royal Winter Fair and many Ontario fall fairs.
Mr. Duck was a member of the Trinity Anglican Church, Port Credit. His wife, Jessie Wallace Smith, predeceased him in 1932. He leaves two daughters, Deta (Mrs. Gordon Cole), Grimsby, and Marigold, (Mrs. Bruce MacBride), Port Credit.
Funeral services were held from Trinity Anglican Church, Port Credit, on Tuesday, September 5th. Casket bearers were The Hon. T.L. Kennedy, Mr. T. Brownridge, Mr. H. Pinchin, Dr. H.G. Armstrong, Mr. O. Shea and Mr. A. Duck.
Interment was in Park Lawn Cemetery, Port Credit.
